REWards-Research Ethics Workshops Faculty and fellows who participate in clinical research.
Completion of REWards fulfills Kirschstein-NRSA responsible conduct of research training requirements
PIs, Faculty and Fellows who participate in clinical research and must complete the  C.O.R.E. training or its equivalent.  Fellows who participate in clinical research must complete the new C.O.R.E. training or its equivalent before completing his/her fellowship. Health Privacy Issues for Researchers (HPIR) Faculty, fellows, staff, and students participating in human subjects research involving Protected Health Information (PHI). Course is not required if the Privacy Issues Relating to Research Course has been completed. Training must be completed before participating in human subjects research involving PHI.

Note: JH workforce members involved in human subjects research are also required to complete the required HIPAA training courses as identified on the JH Privacy Office Intranet Site.
